Double Room available in our homely flat from the end of February, as our current flatmate is moving in with her
boyfriend. The room comes furnished with a bed, wardrobe, draws, desk and office chair. Also lots of storage space as it’s an ottoman bed!
The flat is split across two-floors. It has a modern bathroom (you’d be sharing with Abi only) and kitchen, and a large terrace with a bbq & seating area (the biggest selling point!).
You’d be living with Alex (26) and Abi (28); both civil servants who tend to go into the office 2-4 times a week.
We tend to eat and watch TV together in the evenings if we are free, but equally respectful of each other’s space. We’re more early-morning run or gym-class than late-night party types. Always up for doing things as a flat (brunch, cinema, comedy etc), but also both have our own sets of friends we do things with.
The flat is extremely well connected; only a 8min walk to Nine Elms Station (zone 1) and ~15min walk to both Vauxhall and Stockwell Station. 3 min walk to the nearest bus stop.
The rent is currently £980pcm, rising to £1,010 in June (a year since our last increase). Bills are currently around £130pcm.
