I'm looking for a good-natured tenant for a bright three-bedroom flat near Nine Elms to join the two existing tenants (both male). There's a single bedroom available, with a small double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers (bedroom 3 in the floorplan). It would suit someone who doesn't need too much storage.
The rent will be £600 pcm or nearest offer. This includes 200Mbps fibre broadband, council tax, water and cleaning fees (but doesn't include the gas and electricity bill which is about £20 pcm). The deposit will be one month's rent.
The flat was completely refurbished a couple of years ago. It's located on the 2nd floor of a purpose-built block. You'll have access to a shared living room with a dining table, shared bathroom with separate toilet, kitchen (including gas cooker, washing machine and the all-important dishwasher), and private parking for residents. There's also a communal garden and a bike hangar.
In case you're new to the area, Nine Elms is currently undergoing substantial regeneration. There are some nice new bars, pubs and restaurants nearby, and a couple of theatres. There's also a huge Sainsbury's less than five minutes away.
The room faces New Covent Garden Market, so there is some low-level noise at night. I was sleeping in the room for two years without any problems, but it wouldn't suit a light sleeper.
The flat is a 12 minute walk from Vauxhall station (zone 1/2) and a 14 minute walk from Stockwell station (zone 2), and well-served by local buses (77, 87, 196, 452).
