An en suite, spacious double room

We are an easy-going, friendly family looking for a like-minded housemate to join our spacious and relaxed home. We both work in the education sector, so we are usually quite busy during the week, but we enjoy a calm and welcoming household atmosphere.

The house is located in SW16, just a 10-minute walk from Norbury train station and a 2-minute walk to the nearest bus stop (250). There are lots of beautiful green spaces nearby, including Biggin Wood, Streatham Common, The Rookery and Norbury Park, making it a lovely area for walks and outdoor time.

The room available is on the first floor and has recently been refurbished. It is bright, airy and spacious, and comes with a private en-suite wet room. There is a large chest of drawers for storage, and the room also includes a nice wooden desk.

The house is kept very clean, and a cleaner visits weekly to clean the communal areas — this is included in the price. We also have a large back garden with plenty of space to relax, read, eat or enjoy a BBQ, especially in the warmer months.

We are looking for someone who is friendly, easy-going and enjoys living in a peaceful and respectful environment. We like to socialise with our housemates at weekends, and we often cook and have BBQs in the garden. It is a very safe and welcoming place to live. We are also happy to put you in touch with previous housemates so you can get a sense of what it’s like to live here.
