UAL Students at The Costume Store

we have two standard rooms in the costume store.

My relatives moved to London so that I and my cousin will move out and live with them but the contract is till 11th August 2021.

-Payment

The deposit will be returned at the expiration of the dormitory contract period, and can usually be paid in installments over three times during a one-year contract. If you come in, you will pay the remaining amount in two installments.

-Room and Place Description

Safe, convenient standard room (en suite bathroom) with porter and reception area. Cozy single bed, furnished room with a common kitchen. Located on the 7th floor in block D. it boasts of a great view of London City and beyond. The reception will stand by 24/7 so that there is no risk of losing or failing to receive the parcel on time.

The Costume Store is located in West London opposite North Acton tube station (Central Line), which means that you have quick and convenient access to many of the college sites, with the London College of Fashion site in Shepherds Bush a mere 10-minute tube ride away. Furthermore, This area which is North Acton (zone 2/3), is quiet and safe so that you can running or jogging easily.

The immediate local area also benefits from independent coffee shops, a great local pub, and various fast food takeaway restaurants. Tesco Express and Sainsbury are just a minute away, ASDA (10 minutes walk), Costa is just right outside the building, 2 minutes away is The Castle pub, etc.

Other features: Large studio/workshop with hair and makeup stations Luxurious common room, with almost daily activities with the social program (like MOVIE NIGHT on Wednesdays!)

-Management for COVID

When you have to be in quarantine, according to the manual, the accommodation staff will manage the whole process including your laundry, giving free food or groceries, food delivery, removing the rubbish bean, and cleaning the kitchen every day. The accommodation delivered an additional cleaning pack and extra bin liners to your flat. If you ask for a reception, an additional package will be provided 24/7.

- Recommendation Comment

I recommend this dormitory to a UAL student who came to England for the first time or to a student who has difficulty in managing everything by yourself. The reason is that not only all bills are included in the dormitory, but they can be repaired anytime, and they can freely enter and leave the dormitory for 24 hours. Besides, safety can be secured through double security.
Under these difficult circumstances, it's really difficult to find a house by yourself in London at the moment, and it's hard to get protection from COVID 19. If you want to concentrate on your studies, I recommend this room.

All the members of our flat are currently on duty to clean the kitchen with a scheduled table every week. Just feel free to share the important and current information about your university and studies with your flatmates if you want.
