Description
Hi! I’m looking for a friendly, tidy, and considerate flatmate to replace my current flatmate in our bright apartment by North Acton Station.
The flat is best suited to someone who wants a peaceful, respectful home rather than a party flat. I’m social and enjoy having friends over occasionally, but I really value keeping the home calm and quiet, especially because I’m focused on my PhD research. When friends visit, we keep things relaxed and low-noise so the other person is not disturbed.
The room: The available room is a large furnished double room with big windows, plenty of natural light, and a very large closet.
The room does not have an ensuite bathroom, but you will have access to your own separate private bathroom, which is just outside the room. It is actually larger than my ensuite and comes with a bathtub, which is a lovely bonus.
The flat: It is bright, calm, and not noisy. We get lovely direct sunlight in the apartment, and there is a huge balcony to enjoy perfect for coffee, reading, or just getting some fresh air.
The building is extremely convenient, with supermarkets and transport right nearby.
Location and transport The flat is literally adjacent to North Acton Station on the Central line around a 3–4 minute walk.
Travel times are excellent:
Central London: around 18 minutes
Liverpool Street: around 30 minutes
King’s Cross: around 35 minutes
Acton Main Line / Elizabeth line: around 13 minutes’ walk
Nearby
Everything you need is close by:
Tesco and Sainsbury’s literally below the flat
Tian Tian Asian food market: around 4 minutes’ walk
Domino’s, Papa John’s, Costa Coffee, and Subway: around 5 minutes’ walk
McDonald’s: around 10–12 minutes’ walk
About me I’m a PhD student in Artificial Intelligence. Outside research, I enjoy cooking, badminton, chess, collecting books, reading manga, café hopping, fashion, and exploring topics like astronomy and history. You might also find me in quiet corners of London writing poems or discovering new cafés.
I’m friendly and sociable, but at home I prefer a calm, clean, and respectful environment.
Ideal flatmate
I’m looking for someone who is clean, reliable, and considerate. Someone friendly and easy-going would be great , happy to chat sometimes, but also comfortable giving each other space.
This would suit a professional, student, or researcher who values a peaceful home, good transport, and a comfortable living space.
Please message me with a bit about yourself, your move-in date, and any questions. Viewings can be arranged ! Feel free to call
