Description
Short term let’s considered.
It’s a beautiful flat, located on the 9th floor overlooking the river. It has an open plan living room and kitchen with a balcony. Two rooms and shared bathroom, 3 small storage rooms (about 1x2m each and one of them is utility room). The flat is fully furnished and equipped, ready to move in without hustle which is perfect for short term or if you just moved to London. The pictures are new so everything you see in the flat is there.
We have a parking, it’s currently rented out to someone else, but if you need it, we can rearrange that.
The Area
It’s located 10-15 mins walk to North Greenwich tube station which is 2 mins ride from Canary Wharf or 10 mins from London Bridge. You can also get to the City Airport on 15 mins by Uber.
The area is relatively new (in comparison to other areas of London), there are quite a few bars and restaurants near the tube, there is a co-working space, Studio 338 is about 10 mins walk. There is a very nice running / cycling path around the peninsula along the river; you can either run to Thames Barriers or to Greenwich Park & Cutty Sark, which has beautiful pubs, Greenwich Market, museums. Certainly underrated part of London.
Me
I’m one of two landlords and I live in one of the rooms. I work in tech marketing, love cycling, hiking, art. I am friendly and enjoy meeting new people. When it comes to living together, I respect peoples space, it’s great if we vibe but I’m happy to just respectfully cohabit if we don’t. And I’m the one who deals with any issues in the house, if something breaks down etc. so I guess it’s one of the perks living with the landlord 😂
Who we are looking for/situation
We are selling the flat, hence, this makes it perfect solution of you are looking for short term rental up to 6 months.
There is no minimum stay, and because we don’t know how quickly we will sell it, we don’t want to promise a long lease longer than 6 months but it may be longer, depending how long it will take to sell and process the sale.
Bills
The rent includes:
- WiFi
- Council Tax
Water, Electricity and boiler bills are charged by consumption - so if you are economical within reason and switch off the lights etc., they are around £120 total for two people and we will be splitting it, so £60 each month. When the heating is on, it can go up to about £80-£120 per person or so, depends on how much you use it. I’ll be sharing the bills for full transparency.
Feel free to ask any questions and arrange the viewing.
