Looking for a flatmate to replace an outgoing tenant in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom flat.
The flat is on the 19th floor with a balcony and beautiful views looking east onto the Thames. There's huge windows and lots of natural light coming in.
It's a 5 minute walk from North Greenwich tube/bus station, on the Jubilee line, so it's very well connected to the rest of London.
The rent is £1600pm, with bills £150-200pm (electricity, hot water, internet, council tax) based on previous usage. Council tax band E.
The kitchen and living area are fully furnished, with an induction hob, dishwasher, and plenty of cupboard and fridge space. We've got a big TV and fast internet.
The room is furnished with bed and lots of wardrobe space, but no desk... though IKEA is within walking distance :)
You have a private bathroom (not ensuite) with shower and bath.
Additional perks:
- Air conditioning in all rooms (great during summer)
- On-site gym, swimming pool, and sauna (2-minute walk to the building over)
- Excellent running routes along the Thames, just outside the building entrance (and well-lit at night)
I’m very open to decorating ideas, or rearranging the space to make it feel like home for both of us.
About me: I’m 25 and work in software. Outside of work I’m usually cooking or doing some form of fitness. I mostly work from the office, with occasional WFH days. I currently follow a vegan diet but I have no issue with people cooking and eating meat in the flat.
In general, I'm looking for someone who:
- Is relaxed and able to have a laugh
- Feels a strong sense of responsibility to keep the flat tidy for the other person. I'm not a clean freak, but we shouldn't have to prompt each other to clear a mess (goes both ways)
- A young professional with a similar ish working routine
Move-in date is quite flexible, pending approval from the letting agency. Any time from June to mid-July should work, but no later than July 14th. I'm looking to get the new contract signed before May 1st.
Unfortunately pets aren't allowed under the terms of the contract.
