Trellick Tower is on Golborne Road with its lively coffee shops & cafés, delicatessens, antique shops, fishmonger, butchers, library, doctors, dentists, lawyers, to name a few. Goldfinger Kitchen (attached to Trellick Tower), Lisboa Patisserie, John Doe, Palki Tandoori, Pizza East, Maharaja Wine and many more. For essentials there is a Costcutter supermarket on the ground floor of the tower. There are great pubs nearby, and Westway Studios is 5 minutes walk away, so there's no need to even take a coat to have a drink (or two). The famous RELLICK boutique is also across the road from Trellick Tower. Golborne Road cuts into Portobello Road with even more attractions: pubs, restaurants, shops, antiques, fruit & veg stalls, the Electric Cinema & much more. The Portobello & Golborne Markets are great places to bargain hunt, & bump into friends. All in all you don't have to go far to socialize or shop safely.
