* Current lodgers have chosen to get a cleaner in once every 2 weeks at a cost of £14 / visit. This is a separate arrangement between the lodgers.

I have a large double room, about 2.6M x 3.6M (8'6" x 11'9"), available in a tidy, professional, clean, comfortable 3 bedroom house in a quiet residential street close to good transport links and independent shops nearby.

There are 3 bedrooms in the house, the smallest one I occasionally use when I'm in London on business, but I travel a lot. Both rooms have a set of drawers, double bed, study desk & a wardrobe.

Included bills are Council Tax, Water Rates, 250MB Broadband (Virgin Fibre) & TV License. Only other bills are whatever Gas & Elec are used.

There is a TV in the shared living room.

Northfields has a good selection of independent shops, cafes and restaurants, some of excellent standard. There is a Tesco Metro & Sainsbury's local nearby, with a larger Sainsbury's by West Ealing shops & Waitrose adjacent to W. Ealing train station, all within walking distance.

The transport links are also excellent: the house is 2 bus stops (or 7 mins walk) to Northfields tube (24hr Piccadilly Line to Central London & Heathrow), West Ealing overground train station (Elizabeth Line) is a similar distance and will get you into Paddington in 13 min and is also very useful as an alternative way to Heathrow airport. Ealing Broadway for the Central and District lines is walkable or a 5/10 min bus ride.

The house is conveniently situated for many main transportation links, the M4, A40/M40 and North Circular Road (for access to M1 etc), all less than 2 miles away, so easy to make your escape out of London.

Ealing hospital is about 1½ miles away. Working at Heathrow you have the choice of the Piccadilly Line or main-line rail.

If you don't know the area, Ealing has great open spaces, parks and the Grand Union canal walks, more than any other London borough, all within a short walk of the house, nice for weekend activities.

Ealing is great with its summer festivals (although on hold this year). There are Jazz, Comedy, Blues, Classical and Movie/Film festivals held in the local parks over the summer months.

I am a tidy, respectful, social professional - but also happy to respect the need for privacy.

The house is done to a pretty decent standard, and I'm looking for a person who is an easy-going, friendly, mature, quiet, non-smoking (non-vaping too please) professional who will contribute to the relaxed atmosphere in the home, knows how to keep the place clean and is not looking for a party house. Room would suit a British Airways Graduate (3 of the last 4 roommates were) as there are multiple transport options to Heathrow available. The room has a desk for study/work.
