Large room in peaceful home

I’m Lizzie. Come live with me :)

The room is huge. In the photos it’s the one with the sofas (previously a living room). It has a large bay window, built in shelves and desk, and is light and bright. I have worked out the price based on the size of the two bedrooms, assuming that we will share all other living spaces.

There is a large open kitchen and dining/living room area, with oven, hob, dishwasher, lots of counter surfaces, large window, shelves and cupboard.

In the corridors there is more storage and a washing machine and separate tumbler dryer.

The bathroom has a bath with shower in it, loo, and basin.

There is an extra room (in the photos with the crib) with doors onto the garden that we can use as a snug/study. Currently thinking to have a desk in there for art or work, and a sofa for reading and TV.

The garden is beautiful and spacious. It is shared with the gentleman upstairs (who is friendly and calm, and has been living there for a decade or more). The patio extends round to the side of the kitchen, where we can have a table and chairs for sitting out in the summer.

There’s another medium sized room that I am using as a bedroom.

We are allowed a cat… and I am very open to the idea - whether you have your own, or might want to think about it in the future.

It is a 1/2 mile (8minute) walk to Norwood Junction station. Nearby there are loads of shops, cafes, and restaurants.

A bit about you:
I would love someone tidy and clean - who also loves to wipe the surfaces with Dettol after cooking, and if rushing out the house at the last minute is cool with leaving dishes stacked by the sink out of the way.
I would love someone who also wants a quiet and safe haven. Where we have a home that is restful and calm - with friends welcome round - but not for late night parties every week.
Someone who likes to share space and the occasional meal and TV programme but is also very comfortable with their own space and time.
Ideally a friend, not just a house-mate.

A bit about me:
I work part time in an office, and part time as an actor. Sometimes I have days at home working on acting projects, sometimes I have to work late at the office.
Around work I love walking, reading, drawing, sitting outside, playing piano, cooking. I am trying to take up Pilates…gulp. Some days I can be very bubbly and chatty. Some days I just need to sleep.
