A great opportunity for the right person - a bright double room in a lovely, ground floor flat in South Norwood (SE25), available on a flexible month-by-month basis for up to 6 months from late July.

A bit about us: We are Tom and Beth a married couple who have lived in South London for 10 years, so if you are new to the area we have loads of tips for the best places to eat and drink. We also know all the nicest green spaces to explore, which there are lots of within walking distance or a short bus/train journey.

The Setup - Best of Both Worlds

We are looking for a short term lodger to share our lovely home. Although either one or both of us will be living in the house on and off over the next 6 months we both travel a lot for work and are sometimes away for weeks at a time so you will have the place to yourself around 90% of the time. This means for the cost of renting a room you’d have the whole place to yourself a lot of the time. It should be a great set up for the right person.

The Space

A double bedroom with plenty of natural light
Full use of a lovely open-plan kitchen and living area
Access to private, well-kept garden with sofa, dining table and hammock

All bills included: high-speed Wi-Fi, council tax, water, electricity etc.

Who We're After

This is our home, so we're looking for someone who'll treat it that way - clean, considerate, and easy to live with.

Great for contractors, consultants, or anyone who wants a calm, reliable short term base in London

We live in a residential area so we’d ask for consideration of our neighbours and no large gatherings or parties while you live here

An easy 10-minute walk to Norwood Junction, and from there you're very well-connected:
London Bridge - 12 minutes
East Croydon - 4 minutes
London Victoria - 25 minutes
Shoreditch / East London - direct on the Overground
