Description

I’m a 35-year-old woman working in property finance in the City. Fill my time with a busy sales job, gym (virgin active or westway gyms both 5 min walk), going for walks, seeing friends. The room is available from 26th April until early Sept!

BASSETT ROAD
Beautiful tree-lined street in Notting Hill—quiet, residential and considered one of the best around (any local agent will tell you the same). It’s a 5 min walk to Portobello Road (the Golborne Road end, which is the best bit—Golborne Wines & Deli is unbeatable), 5 min to Ladbroke Grove Station, or a 6 min bus / 20 min walk to Holland Park or Notting Hill Gate Stations. The building only has three other flats so it’s peaceful, and the neighbours are all lovely.

THE FLAT
It’s a duplex with the open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area upstairs—plenty of natural light, high ceilings and large windows. Downstairs is where the bedrooms, bathroom and garden are.

LOUNGE / KITCHEN
Bright, spacious and a really nice place to chill. There’s a large sofa, armchair, bar, and 6-seater dining table. I’ve taken care with the furnishings, so like to think it’s a stylish and relaxed environment. Happy to share my air fryer too - with someone who also likes to keep it clean! I work from home occasionally in this space but I’m flexible.

AVAILABLE ROOM
Quiet and bright double room with loads of wardrobe and storage space. There’s a desk and bedside table in there now (can stay or go). You’ll just need your own bed frame and/or mattress. It looks out onto a front garden and trees—really peaceful and private.

BATHROOM
One shared bathroom with shower/bath. There’s enough space for two people’s things and it works fine with a bit of coordination. I’m keen to keep it clean and would appreciate someone on the same page.

GARDEN
Large garden with lovely trees and plenty of birds and squirrels taking up residence. The landlord has provided two sunbeds which I’ve added cushions to, plus I’ve put in a BBQ and a 6-seater outdoor dining table. You can access the garden either via my room or through the side entrance to the property.

£1550 a month + bills (gas, electric, water, council tax split equally).
