Double Room in Notting Hill

Double available in a conveniently located flat - just a 7-min walk from Portobello Road.

I'm looking for someone (preferably a student) to take over the lease from my current flatmate who's moving out at the end of August.

The 2-bedroom flat is near Westbourne Park station (9 min walk) and close to two Sainsbury's (both 7 min walk) and a Tesco (8 min walk). The flat is just a 7-min walk away from Portobello Road, home to the famous street market and a wide range of restaurants and bars.

The double room is east-facing and furnished, with a desk, chair, wardrobe, and two small chests of drawers. There is also a lot of shared storage space outside of the room.

The flat itself has an open-plan kitchen/living room with all the necessary amenities: fridge, freezer, dishwasher, induction hob, and washer-dryer.

Rent is £1200 per month, and additional charges (excluding electricity and water) are £150 per month. If you choose to move into this flat, you'll be required to pay a 6-month advance (£7200) on rent, meaning your last rent payment will be at the end of February.

You'll be sharing with me. I'm a 23-year-old student finishing my Master's at Imperial College London. Although I will be very busy with my course, I do enjoy hanging out with my flatmates.

For council tax purposes, I would prefer sharing with a student. The South Kensington campus of Imperial College London is just a 30-min walk or a 13-min bike ride away (on the other side of Hyde Park).
