Lovely double room

I have a comfortable and relaxed family home. Mostly you would be just sharing with me, (I’m recently retired so I’m around a lot) and occasional family and friends stay-overs. I do have lots of family nearby so there are regular drop ins of offspring, grandkids and dogs.

I'm easy going and have an open tolerant disposition but I do like my home clean and tidy. However I am also an artist/maker and keen on diy, so from time to time there may be an ongoing project (and inevitably mess) around!

I don't mind if you smoke, just not indoors. The kitchen leads to the patio garden where smoking is fine.

£1250 pcm + 1 month deposit, bills included (to be reviewed/discussed) and I require a 1 month notice period.

You will be clean, tidy and considerate, and will also have an open tolerant disposition. You will need to appreciate this is mostly a quiet and comfortable home but with regular visits and occasional stays from both friends and family! So you must be ok with noise, small children and dogs and times of more noise and much laughter!

I am recently retired and at home a lot, I also do some art work from home so I would prefer someone who does not work from home and who has outside interests.

LOCATION: Great transport links, the house is situated between 3 tube stations, about 8-10 mins walk to Holland Park tube, Latimer Road tube and Shepherd's Bush tube/overground. Bus stop for routes 295/315 is 1 min walk. & Westfield Shopping Centre is a 7 minute walk.

The home only 10-15 minutes walk to Portobello Rd and the vibrant and trendy Notting Hill scene, with many bars and restaurants as well as the world famous Portobello Market. Holland Park itself is about 10 mins walk. Westfield shopping mall is 7 mins away, and we have Shepherds Bush market, food shops & a good variety of cafes & restaurants nearby. A short walk to Kensington Leisure Centre, offers fitness classes, gym, and swimming pool also the Westway Sport Centre with gym, football pitches, tennis courts and a climbing wall, is just down the road.

THE ROOM: -a bright double bedroom is furnished with a double bed, with a hybrid mattress, includes a large chest of drawers, double wardrobe with full length mirrors, a comfy chair and small table. There is also extra storage in the bed and under it, and the room has been newly decorated and has new flooring.

Small shared Kitchen is fully equipped with all the usual, a hob, oven, fridge and freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Unfortunately there is very limited cupboard space.

Access to washing machine and dryer.

The home has a shared bathroom..
