Description
Hi,
I am looking for a friendly, clean and tidy housemate. Home is a spacious, clean and homely, 3 bed Victorian house in Nunhead/Peckham borders nestled conveniently between two train stations!
The large room has a full wall of mirrored wardrobes, carpet and lots of natural light flooding in from 2 big windows.
The medium double room (£650 inc) contains a dbl bed, a desk, wardrobe and another built-in wardbrobe/storage space. It has laminate flooring and overlooks the south facing garden.
The bathroom is located along the hall from the bedroom.
Someone who parties away from home is preferred - I tend to be more responsible these days - but having a few glasses of wine, friends over, music and usual social behaviour is obvs fine. ;-).
I like a clean, relaxing home and hopefully so do you - No cramped living experiences here, you will be sharing with me - a busy but sociable, parent of 1 (8yo) and the living room and all communal areas are shared too. LGBT friendly.
Nor is a cleaning rota required, just clean your own room and leave things the way you'll find them around the house and voila!
If tidying up after yourself in communal areas is considered OCD, then it's really not going to work :-) . Sexual preference is not an issue.
I would prefer someone with a mature outlook, independent and friendly who wants to live considerately and in comfort, whilst they get on with doing whatever they do - be it work, internship, visiting UK etc! I have lived with all so no issues there! Price includes all utility bills, C. tax, wifi, Sky etc.
Interests include usual, conversation, music, enjoying the garden, socialising, art, reading travelling, languages etc when I have time. Home is quiet and comfortable and evenings are mostly sitting in front of the fire with a book and a glass of wine, occasionally the TV (not a big fan of soaps) or playing some form of music/instrument.
House
Lots of communal space, bright and airy 24ft double reception as well as an extended 30ft kitchen/diner/lounge with a sofa and large patio doors opening onto the garden so again, very light bright and airy (pictured).
Usual amenities incl w/m, separate dryer, dishwasher, m/w, wifi, Flatscreen TV/DVD with Freeview, Sky, luxury bath and separate shower all good quality an in vgc.
Free on street parking is available should you need it.
The local high street is Nunhead village with it's independent shops, greengrocers, fishmongers, the local historic village pub and the best bakery for miles! Lots of great places to eat and socialise are at hand.
Peckham Rye Park is a further 5minutes from the high street and the lovely Telegrapgh Hill is a 15-20 minute stroll.
Transport is within 5-10 minutes walk in either direction of the property. Namely Nunhead and Queens Rd Stations. Tesco is next door, Sainsburys easy walk in other direction.
Southeastern trains at Nunhead station links to City, Victoria 20mins, London Bridge 10 mins and buses
London Overground at Queens Road Station provides great access to central/city shoreditch and canary wharf etc
Lots of buses into central etc on queens rd incl 171 36 436
Good commute to Goldsmiths University, Kings College Hospital and UAL Camberwell.
Anything else, please ask. Call or Text for viewing
Thanks
