I am a live in landlord, a woman, in my 40's; and I’m looking for a nice, professional or mature student, preferably female lodger for a double bedroom in my very welcoming , three bedroom home.
There are two choices of rooms, the main double at £800 per month including bills, or a smaller double at £700 a month including bills. Rooms are furnished. Shared bathroom. We’ll sign a lodger agreement.
I am a piano teacher/musician, I teach piano from the house, and I live with my very friendly 9 year old border collie, in a semi detached house with a huge and beautiful garden, in Nunhead, within a very friendly and creative community.
There is a communal living area, well-equipped kitchen, and if you like gardening, well, this is your place!
We would do our own meals, and we would have a little fund for shared essentials like soap and loo paper and can include other things like butter or sugar we tend to find ourselves sharing. Sometimes though as times allow and fit, sharing a meal would be nice. And I’m happy to go shares in a cleaner if lodger would be happy with that.
Nunhead is well connected - the local bus is the 343 to London Bridge, or to New Cross Gate which is on the Windrush line; or walk to Nunhead station for trains to Victoria and Blackfriars, or the Windrush line from Brockley or Peckham. Lots of other options.
I like music and the arts, biking ,reading, cooking, gardening, hiking, the outdoors. This is quite a peaceful, creative and relaxing household. I’m quite a quiet person outside of my music and teaching . Non-smoking. Cats welcome. My dog is cat-friendly. I would like to find a lodger as quickly as possible.
