Cozy double attic room in Nunhead

Hi! I'm moving out of my gorgeous attic room in Peckham/Nunhead after 3.5 years and looking for the luckiest person (no couples) to take my place.

THE ROOM
Large, unfurnished, double attic room with ensuite that feels super cozy and private. Because of its location in the house, it tends to be quiet and keeps very warm in winter. There's lots of in-built storage in the room, bathroom, and there's also a small storage room just outside the room that only you have access to.

LOCATION
We're on a quiet residential street in between Queen's Road Peckham and Nunhead, with either station a 7-8 minute walk away. Tesco and Co-Op are about a 6-minute walk, as well as the vibey cafés, bars, a fresh fruit and veg, butcher, and others cool places in Nunhead.

THE HOUSE
We're lucky to share a massive, bright house with a large kitchen and huge living room, opening up into the garden. There's plenty of space for everyone to cook at the same time and lots of storage throughout the house, plus a guest toilet on the ground floor. It rarely feels like there are 4 people living here! We also have an amazing cleaner who comes monthly to give the common areas and bathrooms a refresh.

THE HOUSEMATES
You'll be joining three lovely, considerate professionals with very interesting careers: Jackie (36, F) is a dance instructor, David (31, M) does special effects for films, and Thea (31, F) works in publishing. We tend to do our own thing but we're always up for a catch up in the kitchen.

Council tax £244 (£61 each)
Internet £24 (£6 each)
Gas and electric around £150 (£37.5 each)
Cleaner £120 (£30 each)
Water varies, currently £5
We also share costs for cleaning supplies


🔍 WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We’re looking for non-male identified housemates, ideally 30+, who are looking for a friendly, respectful, clean and comfortable home rather than just a place to crash. We are not a party house, though of course enjoy the occasional drinks and hangs. :) Not suitable for students.
