Description

I am looking for a new flatmate to join me in the lovely modern Nunhead flat I rent.

Location: Nunhead (SE15)
Rent: £975 per month + between £150-£180 for bills (PCM) (Council Tax Band C)
Tenancy: you would be named on the tenancy agreement with the landlord - rolling contract as per new law.
Deposit: £1,125
Benefits + references: The contract is direct with the landlord and they will require contact and employment details, bank statement/pay slip, and references from employer and current/previous landlord. Landlord has said any prospective tenant would be considered on their individual circumstances, affordability, references and overall suitability for the property.
Move in date: Beginning July 2026

Access info: Access to the flat is via one flight of stairs, there is no lift access. There is a phone entry system. The flat itself is all level access, apart from getting out onto the balcony.

Description: The flat is a two bedroom, one bathroom property in a block of flats with a gated entrance and super lovely neighbours. The flat has a living room with a balcony and a large kitchen. It is a quiet block and we overlook a nice little woodland next to the railway so enjoy the greenery and birds from the balcony, lounge and kitchen view.

The available room is a double bedroom with space for a desk if required. The room has a chest of draws and a bed frame and mattress but can be unfurnished if preferred. The room has a built-in wardrobe and there is also plenty of communal storage space in the flat.

The Kitchen is fully equipped but also has room for someone with their own utensils etc. There is a washing machine and large fridge freezer.

The flat is a 5 min walk from Nunhead station and 10 min walk from Queen’s Road Peckham and Peckham Rye stations. Nunhead cemetery and Peckham Rye park and common are both less than 10 min walk away. Nunhead is a great spot with a fantastic highstreet including corner shops, grocers, butcher, fishmonger, packaging free shop, bottle shops, pubs and cafes.

About me:
I am a queer, autistic non-binary 35 year old. I’ve lived in this flat since 2020 and it’s furnished with items I have purchased over those years. It is a homely space which I have enjoyed sharing with two other previous flat mates. I’m into walking, birding and folk crafts and I spend quite a lot of time at the gym and running. Having a comfortable and quiet home is important to me and I am a pro at keeping a clean and tidy space. I am hoping to find someone who wants a similar vibe - someone who is a similar age, friendly and clean would be ideal. I work for a university, with some days working from home and some days in the office so someone who also has a hybrid working model may work best so we can coordinate.

Very open to queer and / or neurodivergent folks who want to share in this quiet, homely environment.

If you are interested please get in touch and we can arrange for you to come and view the space and have a chat.
