Description
Rent: £925 pcm (All bills included)
Deposit: £700
Available: End of July (exact date TBC)
Minimum Stay: 6 months
Location: Nunhead / Peckham border (SE London)
About the flat
The flat is lovely and bright, consisting of an open-plan living room/kitchen, two double bedrooms, a bathroom and great storage space. I’ve lived here happily for over 5 years! There’s a communal patio garden and a parking space (I don’t have a car, so it’s yours to use!)
The bedroom is a good sized double (3.8m × 2.9m). It comes unfurnished apart from a bookcase, but if you’d prefer it furnished, I’m happy to discuss options.
About me
I work full-time as a Visitor Engagement & Ops Manager at an art gallery and have lived in SE London for 18 years. I love music, art, and nature. In my spare time, I make art, grow veg on my allotment, and enjoy yoga, running, swimming, cycling. A perfect day off for me involves cycling to an exhibition, sauna, gig or the theatre. I’m a social person and out quite a bit, but when I’m at home, I treat it as a space to relax and recharge.
What I’m looking for
I’m looking for a respectful, clean, and independent female flatmate who will treat the flat like their own home.
Cleanliness and chores: Clean, tidy, and respectful. You do your washing up and are happy to share general flat cleaning responsibilities.
Work routine: Ideally looking for someone who mostly works out of the flat. I occasionally work from home in my bedroom, and I like to keep the living room as a shared, work-free space for relaxing.
Sharing & socialising: I’d love to share basic store cupboard essentials if you’re up for that. It’d be nice to occasionally cook together or watch a film (I have a projector, but no TV). I also have a record player if you have any vinyl.
Guests & lifestyle: No party animals, please. However, I love hosting friends for dinner and my boyfriend stays over sometimes - I want you to feel comfortable doing the same.
About the area
The flat is on a quiet residential road backing onto the Stuart Road Allotments. Nunhead Cemetery and Peckham Rye Park are a 2 min walk away.
Transport Links:
Nunhead Station: 10 min walk (Thameslink / Victoria trains)
Brockley Station: 20 min walk (Overground)
Peckham Rye Station: 25 min walk (Overground / Fast trains)
Buses: Nearest bus stop is 2 min walk
