Double room in quiet peaceful household

I live in a two bedroom house with my cat. There is a spacious living room, separate dining room, and kitchen, all of which look out onto a plant-filled garden, which has a beautiful big tree in one corner.

The house is on a council estate in Nunhead, which was built in the 1950s. The residents are friendly and very active, with a beautiful community garden.

We're an 8 minute walk from Nunhead station, where trains run to Victoria and Blackfriars in 15 minutes. During peak hours, the Blackfriars train goes direct through to St Pancras and beyond.

Peckham Rye station is about 15-20 minutes walk, where you can also connect to the Overground Windrush line.

There's all the standard amenities - good WiFi, a washing machine, oven and gas hob, fridge and freezer etc.

There's a double room available which has fitted wardrobes and shelving for clothes etc, as well as a double bed and two side tables. There's a large window with black-out curtains that looks out onto the garden.

There's one bathroom which has a shower over the bath, and the toilet is in a separate room.

I have put £800 for the rent but that's negotiable depending on how many nights in the week you would want to stay.

I'm from London and have been living in the house for 16 months since returning from living in Portugal for 4.5 years. The landlady is lovely and my tenancy allows for a second person, so everything is legitimate.

I am a quiet, peaceful and friendly person, as well as being clean and tidy. I'm looking for someone who shares those qualities.
