Lovely room in Nunhead/Peckham

Hi! I'm moving out of my lovely room in Peckham/Nunhead and looking for someone to take my place from 22nd October.

THE ROOM
It is a lovely cosy room with a window overlooking the garden. It is on the first floor and is beside a bathroom which is shared with one other housemate (f). It comes unfurnished with an option to buy the white wardrobe currently in there for £20 if you don’t have your own to bring!

LOCATION
We're on a quiet residential street in between Queen's Road Peckham and Nunhead, with either station a 7-8 minute walk away. Tesco and Co-Op are about a 6-minute walk, as well as great cafés, bars, a fresh fruit and veg, butcher and other cool places in Nunhead.

THE HOUSE
We're lucky to share a massive, bright house with a large kitchen and huge living room, opening up into the garden. There's plenty of space for everyone to cook at the same time and lots of storage throughout the house, plus a guest toilet on the ground floor. It rarely feels like there are 4 people living here! We also have an amazing cleaner who comes monthly to give the common areas and bathrooms a refresh.

THE HOUSEMATES
You'll be joining three lovely, considerate professionals with very interesting careers: Jackie (36, F) is a dance instructor, David (32, M) does special effects for films, and Lawrence (36, M) is a software tech. We tend to do our own thing but we're always up for a catch up in the kitchen.

BILLS
Council tax (Southward Band F): £316 (£79 each)
Internet: £32(£8 each)
Gas and electric: around £150 (£37.5 each)
Cleaner: £120 (£30 each)
Water: £70 (£17.5 each)
We also share costs for cleaning supplies


🔍 WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We’re looking for non-male identified housemates, ideally 30+, who is looking for a friendly, respectful, clean and comfortable home rather than just a place to crash. We are not a party house, though of course enjoy the occasional trip to the pub together :) Not suitable for students.
