Nunhead Station

0-5 minutes walk away
Description
Lovely large double room in nice homely Victorian house on tree lined quiet street in the popular and arty area of Nunhead.(near East Dulwich and Peckham rye)
Nunhead station is a 2 min walk away. Queens Road Peckham and Peckham Rye are 12 min walk away and Brockley a 17 minute walk away.. The journey to London Blackfriars or Victoria station from Nunhead can be as little as 12 minutes. It is also well-placed for people travelling to Camberwell (King's College Hospital), Bromley, Goldsmith's, Elephant and Castle and the DLR at Lewisham and Blackfriars and so easy links to the city.
The room is a double and is bright and clean with chest of draws, and cupboards, king size double bed, clothing rail and shelving and two widows (The picture was taken before the current person so soft furnishings are different but basically the same room )
The house is a Victorian terrace so not modern but it has all the necessities (washing machine , tumble dryer, wireless broadband) and a south-facing garden with lots of sunlight. The house has 2 toilets so no queuing! It has a large living room with sofas and glass doors accessing the garden from the kitchen. It's a very homely home.
At the moment it is three females and we are looking for another flatmate, We are all friendly and sociable. We enjoy music, travel, theatre, art, fashion, sewing and creativity, dance , yoga and much more but we also have busy lives and work hard. We are looking for a kind, amiable open and friendly person who is used to communal living and is at ease with other people, someone who takes responsibility and tidies up after themselves so the kitchen is always clean for the next person and the communal areas are free from personal clutter, basically flat-share trained. We are all strictly non smoking please (even outside smokers are a No No, sorry, please don't apply) and we would rather a professional person as it is not a party house . Anyone who is interested in gardening might be interested as the garden always needs love.
Council tax bill and the internet are included in the rent but other bills are split, usually averaging about another 60 a month, The Deposit is for security and is refundable when you leave.
The rent is paid monthly in advance.
The room is available almost immediately and I would consider a short let until the new year.
If you are interested please have a profile on Spareroom and contact me through it so we can see your profile, ( makes it easier to show the others)
Please feel free to WhatsApp me and include your profile link, I will message you back when I can but PLEASE DON'T CALL as it can be inconvenient to answer and talk when working or busy.
All the best
