SE15 Monday to Friday let for Professional Female

Hi, I have a great sized double room to offer for let to anyone looking for Monday to Friday (or similar) lodging in South London. My Victorian terraced house is not far from Nunhead Rail Station or Brockley Rail Station. Nunhead Station is just a 5-10 minute walk and trains go direct to Victoria or Blackfriars, City Thameslink, etc. It's easy to switch at Peckham for the East London Line as well and a number of buses make it easy to get to/from the house. We are near to Peckham Rye Park and the lovely Nunhead Cemetery, where you can take walks and forget you are even in a city for awhile!

ABOUT THE ROOM: The room to let has high ceilings and good storage space. It is on the ground floor, cool in summertime and close to the kitchen and a downstairs loo. It is situated near the lounge, but we don't have a TV, so the lounge is really only intermittently in use, for studying or other quiet work in the daytime. A new lodger would have shared use of the kitchen and the first floor bathroom which has a bath and separate shower.

ABOUT THE HOUSEMATES: I am an artist and art tutor with a busy schedule of working days and some evenings and weekends, as well as from home in my studio at the top of the house. My daughter, who is soon to be 21, is currently attending university and will be living with me over the summer. We have our bedrooms on the first floor. We have a lovely full-time lodger, who rents a room at the top of the house, where they have their own bathroom. The shared kitchen tends to be in use at different times of the day and I often cook dinner, but am happy to have lodgers cook and share the kitchen. I always give lodgers a good sized storage drawer in the bathroom, a cupboard in the kitchen and space in the fridge as well. We are all considerate friendly housemates, happy to have a chat from time to time but, also, often retreating to our own rooms in the evenings as we all wind down from our busy schedules. I think the room would really suit a professional needing to be in London during the week, as a quiet retreat. All bills and WIFI are included in the monthly rental price.
