Description
Hi! My flatmate will be leaving from mid June (we are flexible on move in date) so looking for someone to move in with me as I want to renew for another year.
ABOUT THE ROOM: Room is £900 (but please note will go up to £960 from 1st August due to rent increase) and bills are roughly around £140 per month. The room being advertised is a small double room, that comes with a bed and wardrobe, as well as a private balcony. There is additional storage in the flat and a storage closet downstairs for extra things you may have. Living room / kitchen is a lovely open space which gets plenty of sunlight and also has a balcony.
ABOUT THE AREA: The flat itself is on the 4th and 5th floor of the building and there are two lifts. It is well connected with buses literally outside the building going towards London Bridge, central London, Peckham, Greenwich, Shoreditch etc. Elephant & Castle station is 10 mins by bus, otherwise Peckham Rye and South Bermondsey are roughly 20 mins walking. There is a massive Asda next door for all your groceries, toiletries and pharmacy needs. A big Tesco 10 mins away, as well as a Lidl 15 mins walk. Burgess Park is about 7 mins from the flat and great for early morning runs or to lounge in the park on a sunny day.
ABOUT ME: I’m an assistant producer working in documentary production and in the office roughly 3-4 times a week. I like going to the gym, films, music, cooking, and travelling. I’m looking for someone who is clean, considerate and mindful that they are living in a shared space. I like to have friends for dinner every now and then or to visit for the weekend, and more than happy for you to do the same as long as it’s done respectfully.
WHAT YOU NEED: You will need to be making over £32,000 as required by the agency and you will need to have the following ready to go for the tenancy check: scanned passport, visa (if applicable), proof of addressed dated within the last three months (utility bill, council tax bill, P60, NHS letter, polling card or HMRC letter), last 3 months’ bank statement (6 if self employed), last 3 month’s payslips (employment contract if you started a new job within the last month).
If this is something you’re interested in, send me a message telling me about yourself and we can schedule a viewing. If you’ve made it this far, congrats - include the words ’NEW CHAPTER’ in your message so I know you read this. I’m hoping to organise viewings over the next couple of days.
