Double room on Old Kent Road

A beautiful and cosy double room available from end of January / start of February (flexible) until July 2026.
I’ve lived here for 1.5 years but am moving back to Ireland, so it’s time for someone new to enjoy this lovely home.

THE ROOM

The room comes fully furnished and includes:
• Double bed and mattress
• Wardrobe
• Chest of drawers
• Desk and chair
• Clothing rail

It’s bright, comfortable, and perfect for settling straight in.

THE FLAT

The flat is located on the 2nd floor of a well-maintained, three-storey building. There is a secure entry system with key-fob access, so it feels very safe.

The surrounding buildings form a quiet courtyard with green space, benches, and even an area to hang laundry.

There is a spacious and welcoming living room with a TV, two sofas, and a dining table.
One bathroom is shared with the two other flatmates.

KITCHEN

Fully integrated kitchen with:
• Gas hob & oven
• Washing machine
• Fridge & freezer

We also have an air fryer, microwave, toaster and kettle.
You’ll have your own pantry cupboard, plus shared storage space. We share all crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, and split the cost of essentials like oil, salt/pepper and cleaning supplies.

THE AREA

Located just off Old Kent Road on a quiet, safe residential street.
• Huge Asda directly across the road
• Tesco Superstore (5-minute walk)
• Lidl (10-minute walk)

Excellent bus connections to central and south London.
Nearby stations (all under 15 minutes by bus):
• Elephant & Castle (Northern/Bakerloo)
• Borough (Northern)
• London Bridge (Northern/Jubilee/National Rail)

Bermondsey station is also around a 25-minute walk.

FLATMATES

You’ll be living with two lovely flatmates, Lily and Lucy (both 23), originally from Kent and working in Marketing.

They enjoy quiet nights in with a glass of wine and a TV show, but also love heading to the pub. Their boyfriends occasionally stay over.
