A double bedroom is available in our friendly three-bedroom maisonette on Rolls Road.
The room is becoming available because one of our housemates is moving in with his partner after a number of happy years here. We'd love to find someone who's looking for a long-term home rather than just somewhere to stay for a few months. We're an LGBTQ+ household. You'll be sharing with two friendly professionals who enjoy a chat over dinner or a drink now and then, while also respecting each other's space.
The room
The room is bright and spacious, with plenty of room for both sleeping and working from home.
It comes furnished with:
- Double bed
- Bedside table
- Large bookshelf (as shown in the photos)
- Built-in wardrobe
- Desk and chair (different than the ones in the picture)
- Chest of drawers (available if you'd like it)
If you already have some furniture of your own, we're happy to remove or store some of the existing furniture to make the room work better for you.
The flat & location
Modern, fully equipped kitchen with a large fridge and plenty of dedicated cupboard space for each housemate. The flat is located between Tesco and Asda on Old Kent Road, with excellent transport links.
There are numerous bus routes into central London:
- Around 10 minutes to Elephant & Castle or Borough
- Around 20 minutes to Waterloo
If you prefer the Underground, Bermondsey Station is approximately a 20-minute walk away.
Costs
Rent includes all bills, including council tax.
The only additional cost is our shared cleaner, which works out at around £30 per month.
Availability
The room is available from 17th August. However, we're happy to be flexible on the move-in date and can accommodate a later date (early September) for the right person. We'd much rather find someone who's a great fit for the household than rush to fill the room.
