Description
Hi!
We’re looking to fill the largest double bedroom in our flat, as our flatmate is moving out. The room is furnished with the bed in the photos, as well as huge built-in wardrobes/storage cupboards. All the other furniture will be going, but a desk can be bought from our outgoing flatmate if you’d like (not pictured). The space has big windows spanning the width of the room and so is super bright!
You would be sharing the flat with Martin (30), working in planning/architecture and originally from Hong Kong, and CJ (27) an Arts/Theatre Producer. We like going to galleries/plays/museums, board games, going out, exploring London etc.
We’re looking for someone friendly and tidy to share the flat with! We want to keep the vibe of the flat chill and open, we occasionally share meals and have gatherings, but we also have our own independent lives and are pretty private if you just want to stay in your room and hermit. Ideally you’ve lived in a flatshare/houseshare before and know how to clean up after yourself, take care of common areas, and be respectful of other flatmates. We aren’t a party flat, but we’re totally fine with anyone inviting guests over for dinner, gatherings, etc.
We’re also a queer household so bonus points if you are queer, and just have good politics in general please <3
The flat is split across two levels with the bedrooms and the main bathroom on the upper level, and a good-sized living room, balcony, second smaller bathroom, and separate kitchen. Lots of storage spaces tucked away everywhere as well. Also very solid walls so noise has never been an issue for us. Flat has no gas so we use electric radiators provided by the landlord.
Bills + council tax (Band G) aren't included and are ~£100-150 a month. We also have a cleaner who comes every other week. We are not students so if you are one, be aware that we are not eligible for any council tax discounts.
Please reach out if you’re interested and provide as much information about you as you can! Or with any questions you might have, or if you want more photos/videos. We’ll be arranging viewings generally on weekdays after 6pm and on weekends until we fill the room.
Move-in date is 19 August or thereabouts – it would be ideal if you have a bit of flexibility as our outgoing flatmate does not have a clear schedule yet (we can work out dates depending on your circumstances also).
We look forward to meeting you and possibly living together!
