Spacious double room in Moorgate/Barbican

THE ROOM & FLAT:

This is a centrally located, spacious, fully furnished room with a double bed, desk and very large set of wardrobes.
The kitchen and bathroom will be shared with one other - a PhD student at UCL (myself) who will live in the other room.

TRANSPORT LINKS:

It is an 8 minute walk from Moorgate Tube station, 13 minute walk to Liverpool Street and 8 minutes walk from Barbican tube station. It is an ideal room for someone working in the city or studying at a London university for a semester. (UCL is 15 minutes by bike, 20 mins by tube).

AMENITIES/LOCAL AREA:

The building has 3 entrances, each with a lift, a car park where a permit can be acquired if needed. The flat is on the 4th floor, and there is a Waitrose directly under the building, with a Tesco a short walk away too. For restaurants and places to go out, it is a 20 minute walk from Shoreditch so there are a lot of options.

THE FLATMATE:

I am a PhD student at UCL. I also work part time as a consultant in data analysis (international development). I work from home around 3 days per week, going to UCL the other days. I am quite active with sports, but enjoy interacting in shared spaces when at home.

I will be looking for someone calm, considerate and mature to share the space with, as I am in my final year of studies.

COST & AVAILABILITY:

The cost of the room is £1,100 excluding bills. Bills are not included and will be split with me, coming to approximately £100 per month each (including electricity, gas, water & internet). Council tax not included (Band D, exempt for students).

The property is available from now, for a short term 5-6 month let as it is due to be put on the market. There may be possibilities for extension.
