Join our 3 bedroom flat in Old Stret

Hey! We’re looking for a new roommate as sadly one of the crew is moving back home to Australia.

A bit about us -

Charlotte’s a Kiwi, living in London coming up 5 years. Loves travelling, big walks, podcasts, theatre, coffee… basically any millennial cliche you can think of. Works hybrid, so a few days at home and a few in the office and has been living in the flat almost 4 years!

Emma’s a Brit, living in London the last few years. Loves running, F45, travel, Prosecco and adventures! Works mostly from the office and has been living in the flat for about 6months.

We’re both single (which sort of works in the flat as it’s quite small), but actively dating (or whatever you call the nightmare that is dating in London these days!). We’re an LGBTQ+ friendly household, so you must be cool with that!

What we’re looking for -

Someone similar age and in similar place in life to us - we’re really good friends so would be amazing for whoever joins to feel like that too. We’re both quite sociable, but also enjoy our downtime and quiet space at home. Love the occasional drink and/or night out, but because we live in an apartment block we’re definitely not a party house.

We keep the place clean and tidy, and are respectful of the shared spaces, so ideally whoever joins us will be the same!

We occasionally have friends or family come to stay and have a sofa bed so from time to time the lounge may be taken over for a few days - doesn’t happen often but also important whoever joins is okay with that!

About the flat / room -

It’s a large double room, enough space for a desk to comfortably work from home if you need to. It comes unfurnished, but as the outgoing housemate is leaving the country she’s happy to sell the bed, desk and wardrobe for relatively low cost if needed (this would be the ideal outcome as otherwise it’ll be tough to move it out of the room 😅). We have one shared bathroom, a decent sized lounge and separate kitchen. Also have a small balcony. We have all the important kitchen stuff. Currently don’t have a TV so if you have one you’d like to add the lounge, that’s a bonus. We do have a couple of projectors though so often have movie nights together!

Location is amazing, 5min walk to Old St station and loads of really handy bus routes nearby. There’s a few supermarkets, pharmacy and other shops also only a few mins walk away.

Rent is £625/month (no you didn’t read the ad wrong, that’s really the price!) and we pay an additional £100/month into a shared flat account to cover internet, gas, electricity council fees and shared bits like toilet paper and cleaning products.
