****3 -6 MONTH LET or shorter****
****We have a cat, Sonny****
In preparation for those travelling to London for internships and placements in the new year 2026.
Up to 6 months (1 month, 2 months etc shorter is very possible ) 😁
Short lets so would suits interns, erasmus student, in between flats, anyone requiring a short let. You may be in London for holidays and Airbnb is too expensive. Look no further!
We are a couple and cat looking for a friendly, outgoing, Independent and responsible person, Is that you? If so, come and view!! I'm studying and Mark works full time so quite busy. We love football so Saturday's/Champions League nights can be a bit loud or we go out to the football so don't worry about noise.
I am a VERY light sleeper so if you have nocturnal habits, up and down during night, I have to be honest, this might not be the place for you. I thought I should be up front with you, as the flat is very quiet at night, so everything sounds much louder.
Come join us! If you're friendly, chilled, relaxed, clean, into teamwork, believe in harmony and good energy and love our cat as much as we do. That is a must! if I'm not podcasting, vlogging or watching football, I'm trying on my multicoloured wigs and having random conversations with my Alexa. I am also into pottery, so you might find me creating something, or gifting you a cup! 😆 Mark is an avid gamer.
Are you friendly and happy to help clean communal areas such as kitchen and bathroom including the loo? Share putting out the bins and recycling too. That's all we ask for! It's important to find someone that's happy to share these jobs with us. They're not very big jobs, so wouldn't take us long at all.
We have lived with people from Japan, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Canada, America, Sweden, Germany, France, Italy, Ireland, Greece, Costa Rica, Switzerland so we love living with people from around the world! We're looking for someone male, female, they, them, who doesn't smoke. Someone who understands and loves cats, especially responsible and not opening the balcony door when Sonny is there for safety reasons.
The flat is super central and literally a 5 min walk to Bayes Business School (formerly Cass), 10-15 mins walk to City University and short bus ride to LSE, Kings, London Met, UCL, Birkbeck, UOL, SOAS, IOE, South Bank, Pearson Centre, we are very centrally located.
We are in the heart of Tech City, Old Street tube is a 3-4 mins walk, The City so Bank and Moorgate is between 15-25 mins walk, quicker by bus. Canary Wharf is a 45 min bus ride or 25 mins on DLR. There are several night buses including buses to Stansted. 15 min walk to Liverpool Street and short bus rides to Euston and Kings Cross and The British Library, we are 2 hours 45mins to Paris, door to door!
Moorgate = 10-15 min walk
Bank = 25 min walk/15 min bus
Clerkenwell = 15 min walk/5 min bus
Holborn = 30 min walk/20 min bus
Oxford Street = 45 min walk/ 25m bus
Dalston = 20 mins by bus
Elizabeth Line (Moorgate) = 10-15 min walk & direct to Heathrow Airport.
Connections to DLR via bank
Nearest overground is Shoreditch High Street.
Very close to local supermarkets, 3 Sainsbury's, 2 Tescos, 1 Co-op, 1 Aldi, 3 Waitrose, 4 M&S.
Hoxton/Shoreditch is a 5-10 minute walk and Brick Lane 15 minute walk. There is now a lot of night life in Old Street but if you want peace and quiet there is that to.
Near loads of attractions for your tourist needs such as Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, The Globe theatre, Theatreland and much more!
Room: Double bed, Wardrobe, chest of drawers, bed side drawers, desk and chair. See the live video to get a better feel.
Share bathroom with power shower (there is no bath)
Share kitchen with all mod cons, washing machine, microwave, gas cooker, fridge freezer, air fryer, table to enjoy the spectacular views. The only thing I ask is no Pork. This isn't for religious reasons, the smell disagrees with me, especially bacon but charcuterie/ham slices is fine.
Share living room, TV, cable, sofas, access to balcony. There's a balcony where you can hang your washing to dry, very handy! We had a dryer, but unfortunately it does not work. In the winter we do hang clothes out on the balcony or create a space to dry clothes. (Not in bedrooms to avoid condensation)
We are high up on the 15th floor so great views of the Shard, St Paul's Cathedral and the London Eye. The flat is South and North facing so plenty of sun and light. Don't worry we're very safe up here, we have a fire alarm, heat alarm, carbon monoxide alarm. 2 stairwells and 2 lifts. Everyone loves it and everyone loves the views and spends their time taking pictures.
We aren't a party house, we are a very quiet chilled house due to studies, working etc. I am a light sleeper, so we probably would like to share with someone who isn't active at night. Yes, we've had people with no headphones on at night when listening to music or watching loud movies.
Due to it being a flat, with unfortunately thin walls, loud conversations at night can be heard by us and the neighbours. Sorry about that, they've complained to us. We understand about time difference for calls, but we try to keep harmony with the neighbours and also as we have work in the morning. We just wanted to be honest with you.
£1000pcm including all bills.
Available: from 2026
Short let Is possible.
+ low deposit of £500 😁
Look forward to hearing from you! And just to confirm, we have a friendly cat. 🐈
