Hello all,

I am looking to fill a room in our flat, move in date 5th March 2026

It's a lovely new build property situated in East Village, the old athletes village in the Olympic park. Less than 5 minutes from Stratford underground and overground station, buses and westfield Stratford.

It has a large open plan living area which is fully furnished and has a fitted kitchen with a rated appliances, everything you would expect, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher etc. Also there's a very large outdoor "winter garden" balcony area.

The room to let is a huge double furnished with double bed, large triple fitted wardrobes, chest of drawers and bedside tables. Bedroom 2 on the floorplan. The room shares use of a large bathroom with bath and shower and amazing big mirrored cupboards.

The flat is big, spacious and airy with floor to ceiling windows making the most of views of the gardens outside to the front. There's a private internal courtyard for the use of residents only which you can see from the bedrooms.

We am looking for working professionals ONLY. No couples. You must be employed or self-employed and able to demonstrate your income, and will be subject to reference checks by the agent.

Rent is £1000 per month per room excluding bills with a minimum 12 month tenancy.

Parking is available (subject to availability) at an additional cost of £120 PCM per car. There is free secure underground bike storage.

You would be sharing with myself - female, 44 work in events and my flatmate female 28 works in media . We are looking for someone who is sociable, easy going but also CONSIDERATE AND CLEAN! THIS IS A MUST! We keep the flat to a high standard of cleanliness and would like a flatmate that continues to keep that up along with us.

Viewing to take place this week (26th to 30th January, evenings between 6-8pm, we will make a quick decision as referencing takes a while. Please only come to see the room if you are able to provide the following information, should we ask you/you accept(!) to move in;

*proof you are a UK resident or have the right to live and work in the UK

*Employer reference (you must earn a minimum of £32k per annum) or up to date accounts demonstrating your income if you're self employed

*6 months of bank statements

*previous landlord reference (if applicable)

*information for a credit check (last 3 years of addresses etc)

These are the minimum requirements of the referencing agency.

We have been advised that the applicant needs a good or excellent credit rating please bear this in mind when considering contacting us. You will likely fail referencing if you don’t have this.
