Basement: Covers about 1/4 of the floor space of the property. Washing machine is down here. Good for storing luggage, bikes, gardening equipment etc.
Back garden: Pebbled area, wooden bench and clothes line. Ample space for barbecues and guests!
Why are we moving? We’re about to purchase a property and need to leave our rental, it’s been a lovely home and we would stay if it weren’t for our new flat! We can be flexible on moving dates, but we will need to be out by 28th February at the latest. We will miss the location and the lovely farmer’s market held round the corner from us every weekend.
The agency and associated costs: The estate agent is based in Battersea. We are currently in a 2 year contract set at £1500 pcm (first of the month, no bills included) that started 01/08/2019. The deposit is 5 weeks rent (about £1730). There is no break clause with this contract and you can leave whenever you need to as long as you find replacement tenants. So, if you want security knowing you have a set monthly rent until July 2021, then this place would be good for you. Similarly if you need to leave for some reason after a few months, this should also be easy to do. If after viewing the flat you decide that you want to move in, I will pass on your contact details to the estate agent who will be in touch with you – no agency fees!
