The Room
Newly decorated, (you'll be first to enjoy it), this is a single room with a storage bed That you can easily lift and store stuff inside it, a wardrobe, bedside table, mirror and 2 rugs.

The Flatmates
Max 24, is a professional, currently working from his room during lockdown.

Alonso 45, is a yoga teacher currently teaching online from his girlfriend's, and only spending one or two nights a week in the flat.

The flat
It's definitely a place that is kept clean & neat with a lovely sunny kitchen. Toilet and shower/bath are separate, (ladies, we keep the toilet seat down!!). There's never been a queue for the bathroom and the shower is an decent one.

Easy living
We're both friendly and decent people and we'd like to share our home with similar people no matter their background/nationality.

Max is from Edinburgh and Alonso originally from Rio in London for over 20 years.

We're happy to have a chat and a meal when our time coincide, but mostly keep our social life outside the home. We're environmentally conscious and hope to share with likeminded people in this respect. We make sure we take off / put on our shoes outside the flat. This is a golden rule.

We don't have a TV in the flat, we watch our Netflix etc in our individual rooms with headphones on in order not to disturb the others.

Location
Located in a small friendly brick building in a quiet street.
5 min walk to oval tube (Northern line), 12 min walk to Stockwell tube (Victoria line). We're close to the border with zone 1.

Kennington park with its lovely cafe is also just 5 min walk from flat. There are several gyms nearby, one has a swimming pool, all within 5-7min walk.

It's a buzzing, albeit quiet but very friendly neighbourhood. Brixton is just up the road, 5 min on bus.

Within 2 blocks there's a big corner shop and a Tesco local, a pharmacy/post office literally around the corner, a deli, an Italian bakery, now making excellent sourdough pizzas across the street; there's also a Saturday farmers market at just 3 min walk, Indian, Japanese, South American, Eritrean and Vegan restaurants, Chinese and pizza take away, Lidl 10 min walk away.

Geographically speaking the location is brilliant. We're pretty much on a cross, much equidistant to the Parliament/Big Ben, Dulwich, London Bridge, Battersea, Streatham, all 20 min on bus. The handy Northern line tube takes to to Bank in 9 min, Camden 20, Hampstead 25
