The room is large and airy with a big sash window looking out into the walled garden. It's a peaceful space, secluded from the main roads nearby and built out from the main house as an extension - so no footsteps or noise from above.

The space includes a double bed, bedside table, built in wardrobe and chest of drawers. There is space to add a desk, additional wardrobe or other furniture as needed.
The room also has an en-suite bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The water pressure is excellent and not having to wait for the bathroom in the morning is even better!

The room is part of two bed ground floor flat in a converted Victorian terrace. The flat has been renovated to a modern standard but has retained some original features. There is a large, bright shared living room to the front with plenty of space to relax and a kitchen/diner with access to the garden to the rear. The garden is a reasonable size with space for BBQs or drinks in the sun.

The flat is located in a quiet street between Brixton Road and Clapham Road and is within five minutes walk to over 10 bus stops on routes into central London and out to Brixton, Clapham and Camberwell. Oval tube station is five minutes walk and Stockwell, just over ten. There are a range of supermarkets (Lidl, Tesco, Sainsbury's), shops and restaurants within walking distance. On street parking with a permit is available.

Bills aren't included in the rent but generally come to around £90 a month.

The flat is shared with the current flatmate Ellie. She's a busy, young professional who has lived in the city for a number of years and is keen for a flatmate with a similar lifestyle. She's friendly, super easy to chat to and always up for some trashy TV/wine/dinner when we're both in the house. The flat is large enough for both flatmates to have their own space but has a homely, welcoming vibe!

I'm sad to be leaving the flat - it's been a secure, peaceful oasis so close to the centre of the city. The room is available from August but I’m open to an earlier or later move in date.
