Great double room close to Oval Tube

There are currently two rooms on offer

The largest room in the flat (£720), is very light and with plenty of space. It comes semi furnished with the bed, mattress, chest of drawers, sofa and cupboard staying with the room. (Also happy to leave a recently installed table & chair).

The smaller is a cosy top floor room (£650). Comes with double bed, mattress wardrobe and chest of draws but plenty of room to fit in a desk and chair. Great views towards the river and over Nine Elms

The Flat:

Spread over two levels with a large living room, good sized kitchen and bathroom (See pics). There's always plenty of hot water, warm in the winter, nice neighbours and plenty of modern appliances. The moving in date is November 1st.

Cost:

Rent is due 1st of each month direct to the landlord, but there is some flexibility. Bills (Council tax, broadband, gas, water, electricity, TV license and washing machine insurance) are paid to one of the other flatmates (roughly £100 a month).

The Area:

The flat is situated equal distance between Oval and Stockwell station so great links into town. It’s also located between Elephant and Castle and Clapham Common so there lots of choice for going out. Otherwise there a Tesco’s, gym and great coffee shop two minutes from the front door, and a large Tesco’s and Sainsbury’s ten minutes away. There’s also a farmer market on Saturday’s, a dry cleaners down the road, and Kensington Park is a short stroll away.

There are multiple churches of various denominations within walking distance. The current flat mate goes to Holy Trinity Clapman.

Current Housemate:

Guy in his early 30’s. I'm a Civil Service and am currently working from home but normally and have early starts and tend to come back late from work or something else. Outside of work I do freestyle wrestling three nights a week or at church group another evening and tend to keep busy with other things. At the weekends I tend to do my own things but are always around for a drink or something else.

What we’re looking for:

Ideally we’re looking for a male or female of a similar age and back ground. Easy going otherwise and happy to let you do your own thing or do something together. We don’t tend to be clubbers or out late due to early starts

We don’t have a cleaner so everyone cleans a different part of the flat each week. Ideally we're looking for someone to keep on top of their own stuff and help out around the flat
