Great double in large Oval/Camberwell house share

Hi everyone,

We have a great double room available in our shared house between Oval and Camberwell as our flatmate John is moving out to go travelling! The house in a quiet private housing estate next to Myatt's Fields Park and the room is available for 6 months from 1 March 2023. (The room could be sooner if necessary, and it might be possible to negotiate an extension with the landlord after September 2023 to stay longer if you wanted to).

The house is a three-story end-terrace, with a huge decking area which is great for chilling in summer and socials throughout the year (pics speak for themselves!). We have a great shared living area/kitchen and large garage with loads of space. The house is modern and is furnished throughout. We're in an excellent location just off Camberwell New Road (~9 min walk to Oval station and 10 mins to Camberwell centre, and close to Kennington Park and Burgess Park).

The room is a good-sized double (the middle room in the property) which is furnished by the landlord. There's plenty of room for a double bed, desk (etc) and great built-in wardrobe. You'll share the main bathroom with one other person.

You'll be sharing with the v friendly Ollie (29, who works as civil a servant) and Ronak (28, who works in sales). Looking for a sociable and chilled third housemate - interest in cooking and communal dinners a definite +

The move in date is (ideally) 1 March, but we could be flexible if necessary, particularly if you wanted to move in more quickly!

The room is available until September, but it could be possible to extend the contract with the landlord at that stage. Bills aren't included, and typically come to around £130 a month.

The landlord will need to change the tenants name on the contract, so there will be a couple of minor admin bits (eg right to rent check). The deposit is 5 weeks' rent and there is a £50 fee with the landlord to amend the contract.
