Double Room in a lovely Georgian house (dog)

Large Double Room in an eclectic Georgian House in Oval/Vauxhall. Semi-detached with garden.

The Room
The room is bright and beautiful. It has a king bed and lots of storage (2 large wardrobes and built in cupboards). Semi-furnished - a bed and chest of drawers - so you can make it yours.
The large windows fill it with sun in the afternoon, and being on a side street makes it feel quiet and private.

The House
The house is spacious, eclectic, and homely. We have a large living room adjoined to the dining space. The fireplace is very cosy on winter nights. There's a nice garden with rose bushes perfect for a barbecue or lounging in the sun.

We have a small spare room that is to share for everyone, either to use as an office to WFH, to welcome guests when staying over, or to hang out in.

The Area
The area is lovely, we're friends with a lot of the neighbours. There's lots of parks nearby, one of the best comedy clubs in London (the Tommyfield), a nice jazz bar (Toulouse Lautrec), great restaurants and cafes, and lots of gyms/sports amenities.

It's also really well connected - Oval is 5 mins walk and Vauxhall is 8 mins. Tons of buses as well, so you can get most places in around half an hour.

The Flatmates
You'll be sharing with three of us, one of which is a dog and the two others a couple.

Rocky Bear is a lovely dog, a mix of chow and samoyed. He's a rescue and getting a bit old now. He does need to be introduced to visitors as he's a bit suspicious of men from his past life. But he loves anyone that comes more than a few times or lives here. Aside from that he's a cutie, loves a good scratch, and is nice to take for a walk. He's well known in the local park!

Joe is an artist and photographer, just wrapping making a short film, and always up to some creative project (which occasionally spills into the house...). Maddie is an enthusiastic event producer and theatre geek, also partial to ambitious cooking experiments. We mostly eat vegetarian at home, but don't mind if you don't (Rocky is an avid carnivore).

Ideal Housemate
Definitely likes dogs. And seeks a cosy, calm space, where they can relax and sporadically eat together, watch films that range from serious to silly. We're comfortable with housemates of any gender, orientation, race, or lifestyle - as long as we're respectful and kind to one another.

The boring bits
The room is available after the 11th of October for both short and long term housemates.
Not renting the third room properly does make the house a bit more expensive, but much nicer to live in.
