Double Room with own bathroom in lovely flat

Hi there.

I am living in a lovely, homely first floor, 2 bed, 2 bath apartment near Oval with a medium double room (with own bathroom off hallway) available to rent from 1st Sept 2025

The place is pretty spacious for a 2 bed with a lovely open plan kitchen/dining/living space (it comes as seen in the photos with everything).

The available bedroom is at the back of the apartment so very quiet, overlooking the back shared garden.

The room comes with:
- Double bed and new mattress (not used at all)
- 2 x bedside tables
- open shelf unit (can stay or go)
- chest of drawers
- 2 IKEA wardrobes - 1 single and 1 double

The available bathroom has a bath tub with overhead shower, full wall mirror above vanity and is pretty spacious. It comes with floor standing open shelves and smaller open storage unit on the vanity.

Secure bike shed at the back of the block.

Bills are approx £190 pcm each

A bit about me

I am an interior designer and I have lived in London for many years and love it here. House proud and tidy. The apartment is great with with some of my furniture, plants, art and accessories styled around the apartment. I enjoy down time in the apartment on weekday evenings as I work a very busy week with 2-3 days wfh (from my bedroom mostly). I spend my free time going to the gym, mixing music (at home), catching up with friends, lots of hiking, festivals (uk and abroad) and holidays. It’s a bit of a sanctuary/calm space for me so looking for someone that feels the same. Definitely not a party house but friends are more than welcome here :)

I’m looking for someone considerate of the space, tidy and will contribute to cleaning every now and then, happy to hang out occasionally but also has their own stuff going on so isn’t always in. Preferably someone who doesn’t have loads of stuff beyond what the bedroom and store spaces can hold as the flat is filled to a nice level (in my opinion :) )

Monday to Friday is also an option

Bills - currently £190 per month per person

Oval - 15 min walk
Stockwell - 20 min walk
Loughborough junction - 15 min walk
Brixton - 15 min walk / 8 min bus

The tenancy is 2 years and has been renewed this June so ideally i’m looking for someone to stay for the full tenancy to June 2027 (you are, of course free to move out within the 2 year tenancy as long as someone can replace you and the names are changed on the tenants agreement)
