Double Room in Oval

*update from April 8th - still looking for a flatmate!

Hi I'm Alex (24F), and looking for a girl to take over my current flatmate's room from May 2023.

About me:
I'm 24 years old and have lived in London since Jan 2023. I currently work in investor research, working pretty long hours with 4/5 days in the office. Outside of work I've recently been getting into the gym, and love playing tennis too. I'm definitely more of a homebody than party animal, but do love a trip to pub on occasion!

About you:
I'm looking for a girl, ideally 22-26 years old in full-time work (minimum salary £31800 per year) who is super clean, tidy, friendly and fun. Unfortunately, the letting agency won't accept couples, pets, or smokers. It would be great if you're happy to make this a very cozy flat, with blankets, pillows, rugs etc. I'm terrible at interior design as you can tell by the current decor, so would love to make it nicer!

About the flat:
3rd floor, 2 bedroom flat on a quiet residential road. We're a 2 minute walk from Oval tube station, and a 2 minute walk from a bus stop with buses going to Victoria, City of London and Oxford Circus.

The room comes furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, a chest of drawers and mirror. It has a south-facing window so gets lovely sunlight throughout the day. My flatmate will be taking the desk with her as a heads-up!

The area:
We're a 2 minute walk from Kennington Park, which is lovely when it's sunny. For those into the gym, we have a PureGym right around the corner. There are multiple corner shops in the area, and larger supermarkets are not far away (Tesco 5 mins, Lidl 15 mins).

Rent is £1060 which doesn’t include bills. Council tax, utilities and WiFi usually come to around £130 a month.
