Lovely room available in Oval w two flatmates

Hi all! We are looking to fill a room in an absolutely gorgeous 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom flat located around 6 minutes walk from Oval station. Move in date is the 12th October and the rent will be £1000pcm with bills coming to around £180 each including a fortnightly cleaner and a pot for communal stuff like kitchen roll etc.

The flat is on the second floor of a Georgian townhouse and was renovated recently with all the mod-cons (dishwasher thank god). The area is great and fairly central with a big Aldi and a big Sainsbury's both nearby, Northern line and Victoria line in easy reach and lots of buses to all over London.

There is plenty of built-in storage within the room and in a cupboard in the hall outside. The room will come with a bedframe and mattress but is unfurnished apart from that.
About us – myself and Meri are both 29. Meri works in tech and is fully remote and I work as a solicitor and go into the office 3 days a week or so.

We both love reading (flat book club anyone?), trying out new bars and restaurants, wine and cheese nights, trashy reality TV, and travelling. We both prefer a chilled out environment at home in the week but we do love to host and would love to use the beautiful living space occasionally for dinner parties and having friends over for drinks.

About you – you are a fun and friendly person aged around 27-32 who has shared a space before and is used to communal living. You are laid-back, clean and tidy and up for hosting the occasional dinner party or drinks and meeting flatmates’ friends when they come to stay. You’re up for investing a bit of money in buying bits to make the flat lovely when we move in. The room is the smallest in the flat so may suit someone who primarily works from the office.

Initially we would love to meet anyone interested for a drink to check chemistry and then make a shortlist to show the flat to in person (flat is currently tenanted so it’s a little hard to get access for viewings).
