We have a lovely quiet and fully furnished bedroom becoming available in our attractive and well-maintained flat near Oval.

The flat is spacious, bright and comfortable, with excellent communal facilities. There are two modern shower rooms, both with toilets and vanity areas – particularly convenient in a shared flat.

The kitchen is one of the highlights of the property. It is large, bright and fully equipped, with plenty of storage, white quartz worktops, a tumble dryer and two large American-style fridge/freezers. There is also a large dining table, providing a great communal space for flatmates to eat and socialise together.

Everything is kept clean and tidy, with a professional cleaner visiting once a week to clean all the communal areas.

Location

The flat in a very convenient location between Oval and Brixton, just moments from Brixton Road and with excellent access to South and Central London.

Both Oval and Brixton Underground stations are within walking distance, giving you access to the Northern and Victoria lines and excellent connections into Central London.

There are also bus stops just a minute or two from the property, with frequent services towards Central London and other parts of South London.

For everyday shopping, there are several Tesco stores and a Co-op nearby, making food shopping very convenient.

The location gives you easy access to both Oval and Brixton, with a huge choice of restaurants, cafés, pubs, bars, shops and other amenities within easy reach.

The Room & Flatmates

The bedroom has lots of character and is situated at the rear of the building, away from the main road, making it particularly quiet and restful.

There is an excellent amount of storage, including four large drawers underneath the bed, a full-sized wardrobe and a chest of drawers.

The bedroom comes fully furnished with everything shown in the photographs.

This is a five-bedroom flat, so you would be sharing with four other flatmates. The current flatmates are all working professionals: three males and one female.

The flat would ideally suit a non-smoking professional or international student looking for a clean, comfortable and well-maintained home with excellent access to Central London.

Please note that the room is for single occupancy only. Unfortunately, we cannot accept couples.

Rent & Bills

The rent is £225 per week (£975 per calendar month) and includes:

• Gas
• Electricity
• Water
• Council Tax
• Fast wireless broadband
• Weekly professional cleaning of the communal areas

There are no additional household bills to pay.

The total deposit is equivalent to four weeks' rent (£900) and will be protected through the government-backed Deposit Protection Service (DPS).

To reserve the room, you would initially pay £225, equivalent to one week's rent. One day before you move in, you would then pay:

• £675 – the remaining three weeks of the deposit
• £975 – your first month's rent in advance

Length of Stay

The minimum stay is one month, and we require four weeks' notice when you decide to leave.

Your deposit will be held in the government-backed Deposit Protection Service (DPS).
