We are looking for a new housemate to join us in a beautiful four storey house, a stone's throw from Oval tube station.
The house:
Four storey house, with sunny garden and plenty of space for bikes.
Shared living room with dining table and fireplace.
Open-plan into modern kitchen with all the usual kitchen appliances
Large family bathroom, with rolltop bath and separate shower.
Second WC downstairs, and laundry/drying room.
A cleaner comes once a week to keep things nice and tidy in the communal areas.
The bedroom is a double on the ground floor with large window and good natural light.
The house is round the corner from Oval tube, so great for the Northern Line, lots of buses go to the City and Westend, and only a ten min walk to Vauxhall for Overground trains.
Near to Kennington, with plenty bars and restaurants. Really easy distance to Brixton and Clapham also.
Weekly Farmers Market on Saturdays, great for grabbing a lazy brunch in the grounds of St. Mark's church.
Kennington Park, with tennis courts, basketball, five-a-side football, yoga etc is across the street and Vauxhall Park round the corner.
We tend to be quite independent through the week, but often have house-meals and nights out at the weekends.
It's more of a home, than a crash pad, and we'd want any new housemate to feel that way too.
The rent is £700, all bills included- heating, water, council tax, Internet etc.
The cleaner costs £6 each a week, although we take it week about, so you'll pay £30 every fifth week.
