Lovely spacious double room in large flat in Oval, sharing flat with 4 other housemates (2 guys, 2 girls, all young professionals).

Room is furnished with double bed, bedside table, and chest of drawers.

The flat has a fantastic double height living room with lots of seating and a really good sized kitchen with a breakfast table. In addition to all the space inside we have a large private balcony with views of most of London's landmarks (The Shard, Canary Wharf, The Eye, Big Ben, The Gherkin) and a smaller shared balcony - so there's loads of outdoor space. The flat is on the corner of Vauxhall Street and Kennington Oval, which both see relatively little traffic and so the flat is nice and quiet. The room is at the rear of the flat and gets no street noise at all. Super quiet for central London. Also for cricket fans, this is the block of flats with the famous balcony overlooking the Oval - see picture! All residents have access at all times to the balcony.

The flat is very well connected - Oval tube station is 5 minutes walk away, and Vauxhall tube, bus, and rail station is 8 minutes away. It's also under half an hour's walk up the river to the South Bank.

The room is becoming available because I am moving in with my girlfriend at the beginning of May so am looking for someone to replace me. Our current lease runs until the middle of September, but there will be the option to renew.

Bills are £90 per person per month on top of rent (including cleaner).
The rent of £830 per month is for one person – sorry no couples (landlord preference).
