Hello! Thanks very much for your interest. We are looking for a LODGER, (So NOT a house share or flat share or socialising) for our large, beautiful double room to rent in our Victorian house in Kennington, close to Central London and 3 minutes walk to Oval Tube.
The room has recently been redecorated and is tastefully furnished with solid wooden furniture. The room has an original Victorian fireplace.
We are really close to Central London, less than 2 miles to Trafalgar Square and approx. 1 mile to Waterloo and The South Bank.
We have very convenient travel connections:
- 3 minute walk to Oval tube station (Northern Line)
- 10 minute walk to Vauxhall tube and Vauxhall Rail station (Victoria Line and Rail).
- 10 minutes walk to Kennington tube.
- several very convenient bus stops about 5 minutes walk from our house, to all areas of London
We are close to two lovely green Parks/recreation spaces : 3 minutes walk to Kennington Park, and 10 min walk to Vauxhall Park , which both have cafes and opportunities for exercise.
There is a lovely and sociable weekly Farmer’s Market 200 metres away from our house, in the Church yard at the end of our road, every Saturday morning, Oval Farmers Market, which has fresh food and organic vegetables for sale as well as great coffee etc.
Room is available with no maximum period but minimum of two month letting required. Would preferably suit a professional in full time work.
£910 per calendar month INCLUDING all household bills and Council Tax and WiFi, and use of washing machine and dishwasher.
Access to a beautiful planted Roof garden, which is adjacent to your room, and there is also a separate Patio garden on the ground floor, which you are welcome to use.
Shared kitchen and 2 x shared bathrooms. No access to Living Room.
As a Lodger, you do not have to pay any house bills or pay for maintenance as this is INCLUDED. But you will need to pay for your own food, bathroom toiletries, laundry powder etc.
We will need a work reference and a landlords reference as well as proof that you can afford the monthly rent, such as a pay slip or bank reference.
