Description

Bright double room in the heart of Fitzrovia – with private study space, rare west-facing patio & heaps of storage.

Safe, stylish flat in a quiet street just off Oxford Street, steps from cafés, shops & tubes. Looking for a clean, sociable flatmate to share a real home.

Are you looking for a place that feels like home? Central, but quiet? With lots of tube options around? With a nice, social flatmate? Look no further!

The flat has a LOT of storage space and it's composed of two bedrooms (yours with a double bed), a living room, a kitchen, one bathroom (with bath and overhead shower, and a rare patio with BBQ and a hammock (perfect to chill in the summer – and when it's warm I like to project movies outside).

The apartment is in a safe, well-maintained building, tucked around the corner from Fitzrovia’s famous “Coffee Quarter.” The kitchen is fully equipped and benefits from a dishwasher and a large fridge-freezer. The outside decked patio is reached via double french doors off the living area and is west facing. The apartment feels like a a little 'house' as the bedrooms are on the top floor and the living area and patio on the lower floor.

There’s gas central heating throughout, and a lots of shops, cafes, restaurants and a supermarket just one minute’s walk away.

I’m looking for someone clean and easy-going that wants to create a real “home vibe” in the flat – spending some time together, whether it’s a film/game night or sharing a meal – but who equally has their own life.

Your bedroom has a desk, lots of shelves, a chest of drawers, a wardrobe and two VERY BIG storage spaces (one in your room and one downstairs, ideal for luggage etc). The house also has two additional shared storage places.

The area is unbeatable: just north of Oxford Street, between Great Portland Street and Great Titchfield Street, right in the heart of fashionable Fitzrovia. Oxford Circus (Central, Victoria and Bakerloo) is 7 mins away, Great Portland Street (Hammersmith & City, Circle) 7 mins, and Goodge Street (Northern Line) about 9–10 mins. Despite being so central, our street is VERY QUIET, the flat even more so. Regent’s Park and other green spaces are also within easy walking distance. It is also just a 15-minute walk from University College London

You’ll be sharing the flat with me: I’m in my early thirties, love dad jokes, a good wine, and have a debatable music taste (so I’ve been told). I’m into cinema, theatre, improv, exploring new neighbourhoods, hikes, trying new restaurants, trapeze classes, roller skating, reading and photography. I’m social and occasionally host dinners or board game nights with friends (always communicated in advance)
