Description
Hi Seekers,
I'm the current tenant in the flat. I'm looking for someone to share with. It's a light and airy double room available in a 2 bedroom garden flat. The flat can not be made into an HMO only 2 tenants allowed (including me). Refrences are required please only contact if you are able to provide proof of income over £26K or have a Guarantor.
Viewings available
Currently the room only has the bed and the combined wardrobe/chest of drawers and an I'll wear that tomorrow chair. A Billy bookcase and a separate chest of drawers are available if wanted. Great under bed storage. The room can also be made available unfurnished.
There is the main lounge and a second reception room. The second reception can be a working from home space for a hybrid worker. If not then it's a great exercise and relaxing space.
There is a bathroom with a good over bath shower with both rain head and hose. There is a separate toilet so no leg crossing while someone showers. Kitchen is a good size for London, galley style and it's got good work surfaces and plenty of storage. Combie boiler so always hot water. The flat is cool in summer and retains heat well in winter. There is a fridge/ freezer for each person.
Bills included Monthly:
Council Tax:
Gas & Electric
Virgin Tv and Braoadband:
Water:
TV license.
All the Kitchen appliances are new. The garden is mature and lovely. We have the front half of the lawn and the spacious patio area. The lawn is amazing for sunbathing in the warmer months. We get the last rays of the sun on the patio. The three seat swing is perfect for a relaxing tipple of choice after work. If the summer is good enough a pop up pool also fits in the patio area.
There are 2 main stations Palmers Green is an easy walk and takes you to either Moorgate or Highbury and Islington in quick time. There are also regular buses available. New Southgate is on the Piccadilly line and easily accessed. Arnos Grove is a quick walk away too.
I'm looking for someone who is looking for a home not a party flat. I'm looking for the usual respects each other's space, someone who wants to be somewhat social. It would be nice to be able to watch a box set or film together. Clean and tidy. This is a perfect place for summer BBQ and dinners with friends. Easy to hit town and get back to after a night out. There are amazing local bakeries, cafes and a gym a five minute walk away.
As a flatmate I'm typically out working most days of the week. I'm a self employed plumber. After 20 years in the social sector working with homelessness, drug and alcohol, criminal justice and gender violence I re-trained. I've never been happier than in my current role. At weekends I'm either out and about doing things or mooching about having a lazy one. Evenings are spent cooking and watching TV or films. Sometimes I'm doing escape rooms, galleries, walking, dancing or dinner with friends. Alternatively trying to garden as I'm still developing this skill. I'm a voracious reader and only having a Kindle stops the flat looking like a library.
There is Virgin fibre broadband that reaches to the garden for summertime working from home. Great upload and download speed. Hibrid workers only no full time home workers.
Smoking outside only.
