Large double room in Palmers Green.

Hello!
My name is Vincent, and I happily live in a clean, quiet house near Wood Green/Palmers Green. We are currently five tenants looking for a sixth to take one of the biggest rooms in the house (single occupancy only, sorry no couples).

The Room
It is a big, well-lit double room on the second floor featuring a carpet, white walls, four windows, and wardrobes. It shares a wall with one room and the neighbouring house. Unlike the back of the house, this room faces a calm and peaceful street, leading towards a park on one end and shops on the other.

The House & Facilities

o Location: Near the North Circular road in the Palmers Green/Wood Green area.

o Kitchen: Fully equipped with a functioning stove, oven, microwave, and two fridges. It’s large enough for multiple people to cook at once, though currently too small to host more than two people eating at the same time (our manager is trying to solve this).

o Bathroom (Please Read): There is currently one bathroom shared between all of us, located right next to your room. However, our manager is trying to build a second one downstairs.

o Ongoing Work: We have undergone a lot of repairs lately, and this will continue until the new bathroom and kitchen table are finished.

o Garden: We have a garden, but we don't use it often; a nearby restaurant fan can be loud, and I personally have sensory issues with it.

About Us
We are a group of diverse Londoners with varying experiences. We did not move in as a joint tenancy - we all arrived one after the other. We are four men and one woman (all single men, plus one heterosexual couple). We speak Pashto, Nepali, French, English, Arabic, and more. We have a good relationship with each other, though kitchen use varies wildly from person to person. We never interact with the landlord, but our house manager is quite responsive and helpful.

About You & The Vibe
Ideally, we are looking for a woman to create some gender balance in the house, but we have no age restrictions. We are a respectful, mature household and want to keep it that way.

We ask that you are clean, tidy, and pay your rent on time. We do not request you to socialise if you do not want to. I am autistic myself, and we understand that simply not acknowledging someone sometimes is perfectly okay. We always respect each other's privacy and space. You will be expected to do your part of the cleaning and share the cost of communal items like bin bags.

Our Boundaries
To maintain a safe and quiet home, our strict boundaries include:

o No smoking, drugs, alcohol, pets, or loudness.

o No ableism, racism, sexism, ageism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, transphobia or homophobia.

o No violence or criminality.
