Description
Bright and light large double bedroom in 2 bed flatshare.
Available at the latest from Saturday 18th October can be sooner subject to negotiation, the current flatmate is buying a place so there might be some flexibility to move in from the start of October, but can be discussed a later date with my current flatmate.
The room is a very spacious double with huge built in wardrobes & storage, and as with the rest of the flat was redecorated 4 years ago. My outgoing housemate is taking his bed/furniture with him, but the agents will provide a new bed with the room, unless you want to bring your own.
The flat is very homely, has a great layout with the living area and entertaining garden, we've had 12 round the table inside, more outside and much more standing at parties and only 5 mins from some fantastic pubs.
Location wise we are 10 mins from Parson's Green (District Line), Imperial Wharf (Overground) and Wandsworth Town (Mainline to Waterloo), 10 mins walk from the Kings Road and 20 mins walk to Putney Bridge right by the river.
Preference for professionals, who mainly works from office but happy for you to work from home occasionally, your room has good space for a desk.
Bills are around £185 ppm. Agent is also the Landlord, Marston Estates and they own most of the street - and built it back in 1895!
I've lived here for 2 years, and I love it here so I'm sure you will you.
About Me: I'm Matt (31) I work in Westminster in the press office in the Treasury, so naturally have a interest in politics and current affairs but try not to let it consume my whole life, I'm usually in the office around 3 or 4 days a week but do like a work from home Friday or the align with the England Test Match schedule where possible!
Hobbies: When I'm not at work, I'm usually playing sports - I play cricket in Summer, hockey in the winter, padel and about to start training for a marathon in February. I also like to go out with friends, travel and generally like to be active rather than sit at home and watch TV although we have just got Sky TV so I have been watching a bit of The White Lotus and a variety of sporting events of course.
I am looking for someone with a similar outlook, a considerate and tidy flatmate who is happy to socialise and be friends whilst also not living in each others pockets as we all have busy lives.
If you think you'd be a good addition drop me a short message as to why and we will go for there.
Due to the surprisingly high volume of interest, it may take me some time to reply.
