I’m moving out of London and sadly giving up my spacious room in Parsons Green.
The flat is in a great location. It’s only a 5 min walk to Parsons Green station and there’s a supermarket, pub, pharmacy, barber, cafe, and more within a 1 min walk. Bishop’s Park and the river is only about 10 mins away.
I’ve lived here for 3 years and the flat and room is very spacious. You’ll be sharing a bathroom with one other. There’s space to WFH in the living room or otherwise there is room for a desk in the bedroom.
You’ll be living with two sociable male professionals (aged 24 & 26), who are mates from uni. One is a quantity surveyor and is in the office 5 days a week, the other works in sales and is in the office 1-2 days a week. Tends to be very chill during the week and then will often go out on the weekends.
The room has all the furniture you’ll need, including a bed, large wardrobe, large chest of drawers, and two smaller chests of drawers. The kitchen is also fully equipped, so no need to bring anything with you.
The flat is a maisonette and split across the first and second floor of the building. There is a shop on the ground floor, but this has been closed for some time so there’s never any noise. The flat has a separate entrance from the street. There is also internal glazing on the front of the flat which reduces any street noise, but the bedroom advertised is at the back of the building so is very quiet.
The room will be available from the end of February. Exact date TBC. Rent is £950pcm, with around £100 on top for all bills. The lease runs until the end of September, but I have already renewed with the landlord twice and he has been very reasonable - the rent has only gone up £130pcm across the 3 years I’ve lived here.
