Description

Hi,

I have a single room available from the 28th June 2022 within a modern flat with a newly refurbished kitchen and conveniently located within zone 2 right in the heart of Peckham, south London’s trendiest neighbourhood.

There are currently 2 girls and 1 guy living there, nice, clean, friendly and considerate individuals. The rooms are all part furnished (i. e. bed, wardrobe, table and chairs) and would be for individual occupancy, non-smokers and clean, considerate individuals only.

All rooms come inclusive of bills, including a fortnightly cleaner for the communal areas (i. e. kitchen, bathroom and hallway) and the room is £400/month. The property does not have a lounge, however due to the generous size of the rooms, coupled with a fantastic location, an abundance of local amenities and transport networks, this is a fantastic flat to live in.

Location / Transport:
• Bike storage within the building, along with a cycle super-highway which runs directly through Peckham, offering hassle free commuting to all parts of Central London.
• Walking distance from both ‘Peckham Rye’ and ‘Queens Road Peckham’ Overground tube stations, along with fantastic bus routes on your door step 24/7.

Peckham is home to a bold creative scene, an abundance of independent businesses and a sprawling parkland. You don’t have to wander far to find the area’s old railway arches, which house everything from breweries and bars to bakeries and art galleries. Situated next to the flat is the award winning Peckham library, The Mountview Theatre of Arts and the newly refurbished Fusion leisure centre, and the canal path to Burgess Park.

Entertainment:
• Trendy Bellenden Road and Rye Lane are a 2 minute walk; The Bussey Building; Bar Story; Frank's Campari Bar atop Peckham's car park which now houses Peckham levels and is filled with all sorts of restaurants, eateries and artistic spaces.
• Yogarise, offers a great place to practice yoga set within an old industrial building just off Rye lane, not to mention Peckham’s local picturehouse, one of London’s cheapest independent 8 screen cinemas
• Local galleries (MOCA London, South London and Copeland Gallery)
• Trendy New Cross (big Sainsbury's and TK Maxx by New Cross Gate station) and Camberwell, both offering a lovely student-vibe, with bars, pubs and cafes, owing to the presence of Goldsmith's University, Camberwell Arts College and the Mountview Theatre of Arts.
• Beer Rebellion (craft beer) Kitchen 54, a gourmet style kitchen offering mouth-watering steak sandwiches, pancakes and waffles are located minutes away along Queen's Road. Not to mention Peckham Refreshment Rooms and the infamous Brick House Sourdough Bakery and Cafe, two of the best spots in Peckham for breakfast, lunch and dinner
• Infamous Cutty Sark, Greenwich market and town centre are a 10min cycle / 2minute bus journey

Other local amenities on your door step include a Morrisons, Asda and LIDL supermarket stores, Superdrug, Boots, Holland and Barretts, Primark and Argos as well as a choice of banks located down the highstreet.

Please get in touch if you are interested and we can arrange a mutually convenient time to view the flat / rooms.

Yours sincerely

Simon
